Well, here it is…the last wedding of 2009. But don’t fret, we’re ending on a great note!
Kevin and Amy came to me through a referral from one of my best clients at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown, where their wedding was held. I feel very privileged to have been able to shoot their big day this past October.
Kevin and Amy had their ceremony at theChrist Church in Georgetown. Lots of fun and anticipation going on behind the scenes.
Kevin looks like quite the proud fellow ready to walk his new bride down the aisle.
After the ceremony, Kevin and Amy hung out with me for a little bit before we headed back to the Ritz. With the whole church to ourselves, we were able to do some really cool stuff with strobes and gels.
The Ritz really rolled out the red carpet for Kevin and Amy and my favorite part of the night was… the french fry bar!
These place holders were pretty cool too.
Amy’s father gave a PHENOMENAL speech. He did a great job of embarrassing Amy just a bit, and then poured on the laughs along with tons of sincerity and love for his daughter.
Amy’s nephew was a big hit on the dance floor.
These two guys were awesome! They were Kevin’s father’s roommates from back in the 50’s at VMI. They serenaded the room with a traditional Hawaiian love song, with the gentleman on the right graciously singing the female portion.
Kevin closed out the night with his rendition of the Love Boat theme.
Kevin and Amy, thank you for inviting me out. I had a great time with you and your guests and I wish you both the best with your new life together!
