Another awesome mil + mil couple!

Ryan and Candice could not have picked a better fall day in DC for their engagement photos around the Lincoln Memorial.

Thanks a lot guys, can’t wait for 2012!

Phil and Estie

I’m happy to bring you guys yet another hometown with a military twist!

Please meet Phil and Estie. Estie and I have known each other since middle school and I was honored when she asked me to shoot her Labor Day Weekend wedding.

Between two shooters (thanks Mark!), there were a TON of awesome photos from their wedding, and it was really tough paring down this post.

Phil is a Corpsman in the Navy and currently stationed in Hawaii…good call Estie!

I had a ton of fun bouncing around my hometown of Bethesda, Md. with Phil and Estie. Ironically enough, this last shot was taken in the alley right next to Rio Grande and the Apple store. Two places that I logged a lot of hours in growing up.

To overcome the lack of light under the chuppah, I mounted a small strobe on a corner post and was very pleased with the results.

Another GREAT party group. These guys kicked things off at full-throttle and didn’t stop until the hotel told ‘em to leave!

Phil and Estie, thank you guys so much for having me. I had a great time spending the day with you two and I wish you both all the best!

Tim and Cait

It has been a while, and I’m stoked to bring another uniformed wedding to the blog!

Tim and Cait were married in August in beautiful Upstate NY. It was my first time traveling through the Rochester area and I was really taken aback by the beautiful scenery of Hammondsport, Bath and Avoca.

These two met while attending SUNY Brockport and I had the privilege of making friends with Tim while I attended DINFOS. I was very impressed with the time and effort Tim and Cait put into planning their wedding and I had an awesome time hanging out with their family and friends over the weekend.

This was way cool; Tim and Cait booked rooms for their wedding party at the Caboose Motel. I’m a HUGE sucker for stuff like this!

Believe it or not, this troop of Marines was all smiles and I even managed to crack the “Iceman,” Tim, a couple of times.

I absolutely love this shot in front of a P-40 Warhawk at the Glen Curtis Aviation Museum.

The theme of Tim and Cait’s wedding was “the 20’s” and they had a number of great little details placed around their reception.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Tim and Cait for flying me out to shoot their wedding. I had an awesome time hanging out with your family and friends for the weekend and I wish you two all the best!
